I would like to take a moment and share some personal thoughts. My passion for supporting Sounders Women is immeasurable by any scale. It’s something that feels so good you want to share with everyone you know. Supporter culture is more than supporting a team. It’s a unification of passion. It’s people coming together, leaving all their burdens at the gate, and for 90 minutes lifting our voices in unison to let our ladies know that when they fall, we will be there to help them back up.
I am beyond excited for the team that the Sounders Women are putting together. The level of talent on our team speaks volumes to the fact that the Sounders Women organization is raising the bar in Women’s Professional Soccer. I encourage everyone to tell their friends and family to come and support our women. Share your passion and remember that enthusiasm is contagious. Thanks to the signing of Hope Solo, Sidney Leroux, Alex Morgan, Kate Deines, and the recent signing of WPS Rookie of the Year Nominee, Keelin Winters, 2012 will be known as the year that Seattle took notice of Women’s Professional Soccer and trust me you don’t want to miss out. See you on the terraces. UP THE SEATTLE SOUNDERS WOMEN!!! UP THE LADIES AUXILIARY!!!!!
