Announcing: JET CITY AUXILIARY

Attention Aux Members!

The Big Announcement is finally upon us:  The Ladies’ Auxiliary has rebranded and will forevermore be styled the Jet City Auxiliary, the northwest’s largest independent soccer supporter group of a women’s side.

Our purpose remains the same: We will push and inspire our ladies to multiple championships through the most supportive, vocal, and visual atmosphere in Women’s Soccer.  

Already over 200 members strong, the Aux, by all accounts, is now possibly the largest supporter group of any women’s soccer club in the world.  We are developing a lasting identity that is our own and accurately reflects the unique and growing identity of Women’s Support; an identity the Aux wishes to mold and model for the world to emulate.

Yes, this does mean that we are now fully independent of the Emerald City Supporters; we cannot express more openly and more sincerely how much we have appreciated their help in sustaining our efforts these last few years. Gone are the days of leaning on ECS for advertisement, forum talk, drums, flags, organization, and megaphones.  Leadership has risen from within the Aux to form a sustainable and forward thinking plan securing strong and stable support for the women’s game in Seattle.  In short, the Aux has grown up and can only say that it survived its youth due to its brothers in support, the Brougham Faithful.  If you are currently an ECS member or are considering joining, we fully support and encourage you in your support of the men.  Do so with all the vigor & passion that you bring for our ladies!  UP THE ECS! UP THE SOUNDERS!

So, what does this mean for the Aux?

• A new, more identifiable, searchable, & marketable identity & name: Jet City Auxiliary, a.k.a. “The Aux”
• JetCityAux.com: your source for all things Sounders Women: learn the Songs, suggest new songs, introduce yourself to the club, meet the members, take on leadership roles, buy merchandise, organize & join official Away Trips, Tifo Parties, enjoy discounts with official partners, and SO MUCH MORE!!!
• @jetcityaux: your twitter source for up to date information and communication
• Continued communication via our official Facebook Account.
• Official Jet City Aux Merchandise, including SCARVES*, T-Shirts*, Stickers*, Patches, & MORE (*hoping to be ready by the W-League Home Opener)
• New Songs, Tifo, Supporter Culture, & Game Day Dynamics suggested & developed by YOU, the Aux!
• Full organizational structure capable of developing our own unique supporter culture and vision for what it means to support the Women’s game in North America.  One that has both the sustainability and flexibility to grow with our Sounders Women as they advance in the World of Women’s Soccer.

But, what does this mean for you?

•  If you signed up for the Aux already, you will have a Membership card coming your way; you are a valued Aux Member and are entitled to every perk we can attract.  Pick those up Pre-Game at MadPizza.  We are working on a membership mailing system, but in order to save costs, we are postponing that development for a few weeks.
